About The Position
The Strategic Opportunities Equity Research team is a new addition to the Stephens Equity Research platform. Strategic Opportunities will explore the impact of non-fundamental equity performance drivers to provide clients with alpha-generating strategies and help them manage event-driven opportunities and risks. This is a unique opportunity to assist the senior analyst in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in building out this exciting new research product. As an associate, you will conduct thorough analyses of various domestic equity indexes, including monitoring and analyzing events, corporate actions and membership changes. You will assist with idea generation and analyses of non-fundamental equity drivers. This position is quantitative in nature, and coding ability is required - Python specifically, and candidates should also have proficiency in Excel.
