What is the Position? Evercore ISI seeks to hire a Research Associate or Senior Associate for its top-ranked Healthcare Tech & Distribution equity research team located in New York, NY. Primary Responsibilities: The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and should be comfortable working independently as well as in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Prior equity research or investment banking experience is preferred but not required. Prior experience in healthcare is also preferred but not required. Other responsibilities include: Develop and update company-specific and industry (healthcare services) financial models Perform financial and valuation analysis of covered companies Author industry and company-specific research reports Oversee data collection and monitor investor news services Other duties as necessary
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably with strong finance and accounting skills
- Exceptional quantitative and modeling/Excel capabilities
- Excellent communication skills; the job entails significant writing and PowerPoint responsibilities
- Concrete understanding of / demonstrated interest in corporate finance & equity markets
- Desire to get your hands dirty to drive the success of a rising II HT&D franchise
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare industry or policy exposure is a plus, but not required
- Prior equity research or investment banking experience is preferred
