In this role, you will: Primary responsibilities include conducting the fundamental equity research process for the purpose of providing differentiated industry and stock-specific content, including building and maintaining financial forecasts and stock recommendations for our institutional investor client base. Critical to the role will be communicating research findings to both internal stakeholders and our institutional investor client base via consistent dialogue. The Associate will build strong relationships not only with Equity Research colleagues, but also with Equity Sales, Cash Trading, Derivatives, Wealth Management, and others. The Associate will: Demonstrate subject matter knowledge within the Biotechnology sector and a strong understanding of the companies within the sector Conduct rigorous analysis of financial statements and industry, company, and market data sets Create and update financial models and databases Author, with Senior Analyst, differentiated research content on companies and industry themes Attend company and industry events; cultivate relationships with covered companies and industry contacts Communicate research conclusions to internal and external constituents Collaborate with research peers to support the generation of cross-sector research content Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
