About The Position

Evercore ISI seeks to hire an Associate for its top-ranked Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals Equity Research team located in New York City! The Research Associate role spans a very broad set of responsibilities, ranging from small biotech to large pharma. There will be room to learn a very diverse skillset as well as exposure to top investors. Past members of the team have moved on to extremely coveted roles.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or similar background in the natural sciences
• Comfortable working extended hours (including late nights and weekends)
• Ability to dissect clinical data and primary scientific literature
• Experience in biotech industry, consulting, or equity research ideal
• Basic understanding of financial modeling
• Industry experience and/or adjunct finance license/degree a plus
• Inquisitive and a passion to discover new insights, and eagerness to contribute
