BlackRock's Global Allocation Team is searching for a Research Analyst who will be responsible for performing research and analysis for global equities for the Global Allocation fund. The team employs a research-intensive approach that combines fundamental, bottom-up security selection within a risk-controlled top-down asset allocation investment process. Strong interaction and knowledge-sharing exists among the BlackRock Global Allocation team, in addition to using BlackRock's worldwide resources for investment ideas, fundamental analysis, technology, and risk analysis.

  • Perform research and analysis for global equities for the Global Allocation fund.
  • Conduct fundamental research with a focus on financial analysis and modeling.
  • Prepare investment presentations and build PowerPoint decks.
  • Identify key investment issues and assist experienced investors in analyzing facts.
  • Collaborate with team members and share information across asset classes.
  • 1-2 years' experience researching and modeling companies.
  • Comfort with global securities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Original and independent thinker, able to work in a collaborative environment.
  • CFA preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong fundamental research skills with particular strength in financial analysis/modeling.
