About The Position
Join us as an Equity Finance Trader at Barclays where you'll play a crucial role as part of the America's Securities Lending desk. You will be responsible for managing and enhancing the usage of electronic avenues of borrowing and lending securities, the implementation of optimized algorithms, tools, and analytics, designed in collaboration with tech partners, that help maximize stock loan revenue, manage financial resources, and provide reporting that aids in trading decisions. To be successful as an Equity Finance Trader, you should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, sciences math, or accounting. You should also have the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver under pressure, along with basic programming and Excel skills. Some other highly valued skills may include experience in trading, securities finance, programming and building trading MIS, and a solid understanding of the equities market, financing, corporate actions, and regulatory environment. This role is located in New York and is FINRA regulated.
