About The Position

The Equity Asset Class Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, c ommercial success, and long-term health of the Equity Asset Class . This leader sets the vision for how Equity strategies are developed, positioned, and delivered to clients, while ensuring strong alignment across Investment Groups, Product, Distribution, and Operations. The role combines deep equity investment fluency, enterprise leadership, and people development, with a ccountability for business outcomes, talent, and cross functional execution. The Equity Asset Class Lead represents the asset class internally and externally and plays a key role in shaping firmwide priorities.

Requirements

You have 12+ years of experience in equity asset management, product leadership, sales, or a closely related field.
You bring significant experience leading senior professionals and complex o rganizations .
You demonstrate the ability to operate at the intersection of investments, clients, and business strategy.
You possess an understanding of equity markets, investment strategies, portfolio construction , and distribution.
You have strong strategic judgment with the ability to translate vision into execution.
You are a proven people leader with a track record of developing senior talent and fostering collaboration.
You have exceptional communication and influencing skills, including senior executives and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

Asset Class Strategy & Leadership Set and execute the long -term vision and strategic roadmap for the Equity asset class, aligned with firm objectives and client needs.
Provide senior leadership oversight across equity strategies, vehicles, and client segments, balancing investment excellence with commercial outcomes.
Serve as a key business partner to Investment Group and Sales leaders on equity related priorities, risks, and opportunities.
Client & Distribution Engagement Act as a senior ambassador for the Equity asset class with key internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with sales leaders to drive equity messaging and sales across segments.
Represent our equity capabilities at major client engagements, bringing credibility and clarity on strategy and positioning.
Ensure equity messaging is consistent, differentiated, and aligned with investment intent.
Investment & Product Partnership Partner closely with Investment Directors and Equity I nvestment Groups to ensure a strong connection between investment philosophy, strategy design, and client outcomes.
Oversee asset class level product positioning, evolution, and prioritization in partnership with broader Product , Marketing and Distribution leaders.
Maintain a forward -looking view of market s and regulatory dynamics impacting equities.
People & Organization Leadership Lead, develop, and inspire a high - performing team of senior equity sales leaders and subject matter experts .
Set clear expectations, decision rights, and accountability across the ACS Equity organization.
Build a strong leadership bench and succession pipeline for critical equity roles.
Cross Functional Collaboration & Governance Drive alignment across Product, Distribution, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure scalable and compliant delivery of equity solutions.
Serve as a point of escalation for significant asset class issues or tradeoffs.
Contribute to firmwide leadership forums and strategic initiatives.
