About The Position
Principal's Global Equity team is searching for an experienced Equity Analyst to join our research team with a dedicated focus on the Healthcare sector, specifically non-pharmaceutical companies including healthcare services, medical equipment, devices, diagnostics, and tools. This candidate will work with a diverse team of portfolio managers and analysts supporting research and recommendations! In this role, you'll be able to: Conduct in-depth fundamental research and financial analysis globally on companies within the non-pharma healthcare space (e.g., health care services, medical devices, diagnostics, surgical tools, lab equipment). Partner closely with sector leads, analysts, and portfolio managers to provide outperformance through stock selection, while working within the framework of our process and portfolio constraints. Build and maintain detailed financial models to forecast company performance, incorporating macroeconomic and industry-specific factors. Generate timely and actionable investment ideas and communicate insights through written reports, models, presentations, and investment committee discussions. Maintain research coverage of existing investments within the assigned sector coverage for multiple portfolios. Interact with company management, industry experts, and other stakeholders to gather qualitative and quantitative insights.
