About The Position
We're looking for an Equity Analyst to join our Dynamic Growth team at Principal Financial Group. In this role, you'll support our portfolios by collaborating with the Portfolio Managers to identify companies that are growing faster and stronger, with a high likelihood of exceeding investor expectations. Our Dynamic Growth strategies focus on investing in US securities that exhibit positive fundamental momentum and surprise, specializing in long-focused equity funds for a variety of organizations. As an Equity Analyst, you will conduct deep sector-specific fundamental, bottom-up research, free from value or GARP bias, to support buy, sell, and hold investment recommendations. Your responsibilities will include making long-term investment recommendations for multiple portfolios and monitoring existing investments within your assigned sector coverage. You will be expected to cover a significant number of names in the portfolio at one time, potentially upwards of 25 to 30, and make decisive conclusions quickly. A solid appreciation and understanding of technical analysis and its relevance in stock picking will be crucial for your success in this role.
