Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com In this role, you will: Act as a primary point of contact for institutional clients using our electronic trading platform, including algos, DMA, and workflow tools. Oversee onboarding and configuration of custom client electronic trading solutions. Provide timely insights on market structure, execution performance, and routing behavior to help clients achieve best execution. Conduct data‑driven analyses, including TCA reviews, to identify optimization opportunities and enhance platform usage. Partner with internal stakeholders across Product, Technology, Compliance, and Operations to support platform enhancements and ensure a consistent, well-controlled client experience. Support business growth by identifying client needs, promoting platform capabilities, and helping strengthen strategic relationships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Securities Sales Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 57 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.
  • In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer.
  • Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.

Nice To Haves

  • A BS/BA or higher
  • 5+ years’ experience in Electronic Trading, Low‑Touch Coverage, Algo Sales, or TCA Support
  • Background supporting institutional clients or managing electronic trading relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a book of electronic trading business.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. equity market microstructure and electronic trading workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable client insights.
