Equipment Yard/Parts Associate (Part Time)

We are seeking someone with a positive attitude who enjoys learning and can handle both equipment yard work as well as stocking, inventory and assisting our parts department. As an Equipment Yard/Parts Associate, your more typical responsibilities will include:
Requirements
- Forklift certification preferred and working knowledge of equipment.
- Great communication skills and the ability to keep organized records.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.

Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading/handling equipment as well as parts shipping/receiving and stocking
- Keep check in/out log with serial numbers and tag numbers for accurate inventory records
- Keep equipment stored in correct place and parked neatly on lot
- Inspect forklift before each day and keep an accurate log
- Keep daily checks on equipment fluid levels before they leave
- Make sure equipment leaves with proper attachments and manuals, and make sure equipment with leaks are parked on concrete and fluids are caught
- Communicate any problems to sales and service contacts
- Make sure customer and contractor loads and secures equipment correctly
- Inspect yard and outside of building periodically for repairs and safety issues
- Assist the parts department when needing with customer requests, inventory and other duties as assigned
