About The Position
Equipment assistant/general maintenance day to day duties include of moving, lifting, organizing parts, assisting with pickup and delivery of vehicles and different items throughout the segments on the project.
Requirements
- Must be able to understand and carry out oral instructions
- Must be able to count, make simple arithmetic additions and subtractions
- Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measure, gauges, and rulers
- Operate equipment such as autos, trucks, and forklifts
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to withstand standing/walking/driving for long periods of time
- Turning/twisting/bending/crouching/kneeling/reaching overhead 100%
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift while following all company safety policies and procedures
- Pick up deliveries, run business errands for segments, will order/pick up equipment and/ or parts.
- Picking up and delivering small equipment/trucks
- Assist with conducting DOT inspections
- Assist with vehicle Service maintenance
- Other tasks as assigned
