About The Position

Assists with load-in and load-out of the OC Fair performer’s equipment from the drop-off location to the various entertainment stages throughout the property. This is a seasonal/temporary position not to exceed 122 days.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be responsible and dependable.
• Excellent customer service skills necessary.
• Must be available to work at least 8 hours per day for the 23 days of the annual OC Fair.
• Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as demanded by events and programs.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Valid California driver’s license required.
• Previous transportation experience.
• Previous stage experience.

Responsibilities

• Transports equipment by hand carts to various stages throughout the fairgrounds to assist entertainers.
• Uses electric carts to transport entertainers and their equipment from their vehicles to fairgrounds gates.
• May be asked to assist entertainers with loading and unloading of equipment.
• May be asked to assist other departments and vendors with transporting needs as requested.
