About The Position

The Equipment Technician reports directly to the Equipment Manager for the OffShore Division of MFE Inspection Solutions. This position requires the ability to multitask utilizing excellent time management skills, above-average interpersonal skills, the ability to work and communicate within a cohesive team, possessing a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, integrity, and the ability to deliver on our promise of superior customer service. The Equipment Technician, OffShore, maintains a technical background, experience, and working knowledge in the Rentals and Sales, Industrial, OffShore/Subsea environmental inspection industries and assists with maintaining internal operating procedures for rentals and sales standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent degree such as a GED required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, organizational, and time management.
  • Exceptional Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Possessing technical skills and product knowledge related to offshore environmental inspection and related equipment

Responsibilities

  • Management of inventory, invoices and contracts, procedures and policies; prepare Equipment with the required accessories and calibration documentation.
  • Complete and maintain all required documentation related to the Rental and Sales of Environmental Inspection equipment.
  • Shipping and Receiving Equipment returned from rentals- Inspect, receive, and clean rental equipment to ensure inventory integrity and equipment cleanliness.
  • Schedule pickup and drop offs when appropriate. Receive, Prepare, and complete orders for customer delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
  • Accessories and Equipment- Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location and properly accounted for in reports.
  • Track consumables and software as necessary for equipment.
  • Maintain dress code, standards for a safe and healthy work environment by following all professional company expectations and standards.
  • Repairs and logs- Working with equipment vendors, maintaining logs, and calibration files.
  • Report damaged and or missing inventory to OffShore Managers and per procedures.
  • The ability to clean, calibrate, ready, distribute and occasionally maneuver rental equipment.
  • Customer Service- Intake Customer inquiries for equipment rentals, order status, and general questions. Ensure that customers are educated and understand expectations and contract obligations.
  • Work with equipment vendors, maintain logs, work and calibration files.
  • Sales and Rentals Support: Quote customers as appropriate, manage equipment inquiries, order status, and general questions. Ensure that customers are educated on sales and rental processes, understand expectations and contract obligations.
