ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Involve with media magnetic development ahead of production, and support engineering testing and assessment in development phase. Responsible for setup new test and robotics equipment. This includes mechanical setup, software setup and electrical calibration. Responsible for set up, troubleshoot, sustaining and maintenance all DET Media testers. Provide feedback to engineers on equipment handling and performance for continuous feedback. Work close with engineer to qualify new software and hardware. Characterization of new test equipment. Plan & execute experiments, summarize results.

Requirements

  • Minimum of AA degree in science/engineering and/or mid-senior level technician years of experience in a related industrial/manufacturing field preferred.
  • Must have working experience with standard test equipment such as scopes, calibration equipment etc. Knowledge in electronic circuits will be a big plus.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required.
  • Relevant Experience in magnetic head, media and/or disk drive.
  • Good coordination and working teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated, work independently, good logical thinking and problem solving.
