Job Description We are seeking motivated and technically curious recent community college graduates to join our team as Equipment Technicians. This is an entry‑level, hands‑on role designed to launch your career in advanced manufacturing. You will support the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex manufacturing equipment while working alongside experienced technicians and engineers.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or recently completed certificate from a community or technical college in a relevant field such as: Mechatronics Electronics or Electrical Technology Engineering Technology Industrial Maintenance Automation / Robotics Manufacturing Technology Automotive/HVAC/Aviation Technology
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules (including compressed work weeks, nights, or weekends if applicable)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, co‑op, lab, or capstone experience with industrial equipment
  • Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, sensors, vacuum systems, or hydraulics
  • Industry‑recognized credentials (or coursework aligned to): SACA, MSSC CPT, or similar
  • Military technical training or equivalent hands‑on experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic control system issues
  • Assist with equipment startups, qualifications, and process improvements
  • Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and standard operating procedures
  • Accurately document work performed and equipment status in maintenance systems
  • Follow all safety, quality, and cleanroom/manufacturing protocols
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and facilities teams
  • Participate in structured onboarding, technical training, and mentorship
