About The Position

Texas Instruments is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installations of equipment in a wafer fab environment. The role involves collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure efficient resolution of equipment issues and improve system performance.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience as an equipment technician in a wafer fab, preferably with ASM or AMAT epi experience.
• Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct equipment repairs and improvements.
• Implement equipment upgrades and installations.
• Monitor and analyze data to enhance tool performance.
• Coordinate supplier service and repairs as needed.
• Prepare technical reports and recommend solutions to technical problems.
