Requirements

Knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
Must be familiar with test equipment, including digital multimeters.
Should have experience with principles of electro-mechanical operations and a working understanding of pneumatics.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Current Indiana driver’s license and a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in Electronics is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair all inspection equipment in all program environments as needed
Travel to various program locations to troubleshoot equipment and analyze relevant documentation to determine the cause of malfunctions in major test equipment, test setups, and test procedures.
Perform maintenance and overhaul of instruments and equipment.
Ensure that all preventive maintenance, calibration, and vehicle maintenance schedules are met.
Maintain inventory and requisition supplies as needed.
Complete the necessary paperwork, report on assigned work, and assist in the completion of records, reports, and other test documents.
Provide Inspection Facility Management with a telephone consultation regarding immediate problems.
Provide support to State audit teams as needed.
Perform other tasks as required by the Systems Support Manager.
Travel to visit all program inspection facilities as needed
