About The Position

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking an Aggregates Plant Utility Technician Lead for our Lake Lynn, PA plant to support a positive safety culture within an aggregate environment regulated by MSHA compliance and industry standards in our East Region. This role is responsible for leading the second shift crew. What you’ll do: Lead a crew of personnel on second shift directing a duty and overseeing plant production Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations. Maintain and repair plant equipment according to company standards. Be involved with maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Pre-shift equipment for safety defects and report them to a supervisor. Work on plant equipment such as Conveyors, Screens, Crushers. Learn to run crushing and screening equipment along with mobile plant equipment such as loaders and haul trucks. Day to Day Directing and leading a crew on second shift that involves maintenance and production. Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations. Maintain and repair plant equipment according to company standards. Be involved with maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Pre-shift equipment for safety defects and report them to a supervisor. Work on plant equipment such as Conveyors, Screens, Crushers. Learn to run crushing and screening equipment along with mobile plant equipment such as loaders and haul trucks. About You Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance. The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up to 60 pounds. The ability to take directions from a supervisor. The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy). A maintenance background in crushing and screening Fabrication and welding ability is a plus. Part 48 MSHA training a plus 2-10 years of experience in aggregates or related field preferred.
