About The Position

The Equipment Supervisor is responsible to assist with the day-to-day operations within a designated market. This role involves overseeing the movement, storage, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, as well as supporting operations personnel to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation yard operations or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and track all Lowe’s Assets, including box trucks, day cabs, trailers, and moffets.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
  • Update inventory records and manage equipment databases.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate with drivers and other team members to address equipment needs and issues.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure accuracy and timely records of equipment inventory.
