About The Position

The applicant shall assist in providing technical, analytical, and sustainment support for the B-1 Program and Tinker AFB OK. Essential Job Functions: Apply knowledge of equipment characteristics, properties, and uses to advise on design, testing, production, procurement, supply, operation, repair, and disposal. Provide guidance and recommendations to government personnel on equipment-related issues, including developing or revising equipment maintenance programs. Assist with the acquisition of equipment, including developing specifications, technical documentation, and maintenance concepts. Support the sustainment and disposal of equipment, including identifying risks and sourcing parts Support the development and revision of technical orders, including Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) and related documentation. Work with configuration management processes and documentation, including deficiency reports (DRs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). Provide technical assistance to field units, depots, and others to resolve equipment maintenance and operational problems. Analyze equipment data and forecasting spare parts needs through reliability and maintainability (R&M) programs and DMSMS tracking. Identify and sourcing hard-to-find parts and spares, including obsolete parts Use program management tools in order to manage the transitioning workloads impacting LSA, peculiar SE acquisition, engineering assessments, and technical data validation. The applicant shall support the Depot Maintenance Activation Working Group and assist in the development of necessary depot planning documents to include the Depot Maintenance Activation Plan. The applicant shall support evaluation, implementation and management of public private partnerships for depot maintenance.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • A High School Diploma plus 20 years of experience, an Associate's degree plus 14 years, a Bachelor's degree plus 12 years or a Master's degree plus 10 years of experience is required.
  • Requires an active Secret security clearance.
  • Proficient in provisioning, equipment management, project management and technical evaluations, and have quick reaction capability experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Depot Maintenance Activation Working Group.
  • Assist in developing depot planning documents.
  • Support evaluation, implementation and management of public private partnerships for depot maintenance.
