About The Position

SUMMARY Installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains food service, refrigeration, and support equipment.

Requirements

• Four (4) years experience in food service cooking and/or low temperature refrigeration equipment repair and maintenance, to include electrical, gas and plumbing installation and repair procedures
• Completion of a recognized trade training program in a related field or equivalent
• Knowledge of applicable County, State, Federal electrical, safety, plumbing, and mechanical codes required.
• 40CFR Part 82, Subpart F Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification Type I or Type II
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
• Any equivalent combination of experience, training or education.
• FBI fingerprint background check (at employee’s expense) or submission of valid Fingerprint card.
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
• Post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and 75 lb lift test
• AZ Department of Transportation (ADOT) medical certificate
• Valid Arizona Driver’s license
• MVReport – showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees
