About The Position

Equipment Solutions Manager – Denver, CO SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an Equipment Solutions Manager – Denver, CO that will partner with other Equipment Solutions Managers to provide support and leadership within the Equipment Solutions Group. This position is located at our Denver Equipment Facility in Location: Denver, CO (at our Henderson location)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in construction, equipment rental, and/or project management or 10+ years equivalent professional trade experience
• 1+ year of direct team leadership and management experience
• Knowledge of construction equipment and materials
• Familiarity with basic maintenance/service schedules
• Budget management
• Effective communication both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize based on workload
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong computer skills
• Valid US Driver’s License with clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Experience with budget planning and financial oversight (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Managing and organizing owned equipment, storage, and tooling
• Equipment planning and scheduling with internal project teams, equipment solutions teams, and 3 rd party vendors
• Large inventory management
• Financial forecasting and budgeting
• Rental software contract management
• Equipment logistics planning
• Vendor relations
• Understanding of construction equipment maintenance, opportunities, constraints and requirements
• Establish improved efficiencies and process improvement plans for warehouse and equipment yard using 5S strategies
• Lead department initiatives to include development, training and support
• Manage a team of craft and non-craft team members
• Support innovation by encouraging new process development
• Interior and exterior responsibilities required
• Travel expectation 25%
