About The Position

The Equipment Service (E&S) Coordinator at LSG Sky Chefs is responsible for coordinating repair activities for catering and other trucks, ensuring efficient maintenance operations. Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong background in vehicle maintenance, particularly with trucks.
• Ability to accurately diagnose complex equipment failures.
• Skills in fabrication, assembly, welding, and cutting.
• Ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions.
• Experience using CMMS to schedule and perform maintenance.
• Knowledge of the location of all shop equipment.
• Ability to operate all equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to complete routine paperwork as required.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manually lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a union position.
• Familiarity with catering trucks specifically.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repair activities of catering and other trucks.
• Challenge supplier quotes for vehicle repair.
• Perform smaller maintenance tasks such as light replacements, tire changes, and wiper replacements.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and perform necessary repairs.
• Install and repair complex mechanical equipment using diagnostic tools.
• Repair power distribution systems with minimal supervision.
• Assume duties in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Direct the work of subordinates as required.
• Train subordinates as necessary.
