Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • 18+ years old.
  • 1+ years of experience with Customer-Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Valid driver license with adequate DMV record.
  • Ability to drive to customer sites within the territory.
  • Successful pre-employment, post-accident, and random drug/alcohol testing.

Nice To Haves

  • 4-year degree in business, finance, marketing, or related area preferred.
  • Documented heavy equipment sales experience.
  • Ability to attend and represent the company at industry trade shows.

Responsibilities

  • Pursue customer retention, development, and satisfaction in assigned territory.
  • Secure orders by locating new prospects and determining their needs.
  • Provide technical assistance and help in estimating jobs.
  • Follow up with customers on new products and developments.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Attend industry exhibits and assist with booth setup.
  • Stay informed on new contracts and opportunities.
  • Maintain call schedules and prepare quotes and sales orders.
  • Communicate with company personnel regarding customer issues.
  • Ensure correct delivery of equipment and timely service.
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager and Marketing to promote specials.
  • Control travel, telephone, and entertainment expenses.
