About The Position

As the Equipment Sales Specialist at Benco Dental, you will play a crucial role in driving equipment, technical, and Benco services sales. This position requires you to partner with regional teammates to ensure customer satisfaction while soliciting new business through personal efforts and referrals from territory representatives. You will enhance your personal skills in product and services focus areas and develop healthy and productive working relationships with customers, vendors, and Benco teammates. Your role will also involve serving as a consultant to help dentists grow their practices and leading assigned territory representatives to accomplish mutual sales goals. In this position, you will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with existing customers by understanding their needs and providing exceptional service and support. You will lead the equipment sales process by collaborating with assigned territory representatives to prospect for business and close sales. This includes identifying, targeting, and engaging with new potential customers to expand the customer base. You will facilitate customer satisfaction within the equipment sales process, which includes preparing and presenting quotes, documenting signed agreements, collecting deposits, and attending equipment installations. Additionally, you will partner with internal designers to offer office design services to prospective customers, evaluate plans and blueprints, and take measurements of facilities. Developing an in-depth understanding of equipment offerings will be essential to provide accurate and detailed information to customers while staying updated on dental industry trends, market dynamics, equipment, digital imaging, service, and design offerings. Effective communication with regional teammates, including territory representatives, service, and inside support, will be vital to achieving customer goals and solving customer or internal issues. You will also utilize technology and data tools for effective sales calls, opportunities, activity, presentations, publications, and efficient scheduling and follow-up.
