As an Equipment Repair Technician, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair swimming pool equipment while providing excellent customer service. You will manage a daily schedule of repair calls, identify the cause of equipment issues, recommend solutions, and complete repairs efficiently and professionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pool equipment repair, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, or related field service work
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Organized and able to manage a daily route effectively
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record preferred
  • Renovation experience is a plus, including plaster, tile, and deck repair/sealing

Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete a daily schedule of repair and service appointments
  • Diagnose and repair pool pumps, heaters, filters, timers, pool cleaners, blowers, lights, automation systems, chlorinators, and backwash valves
  • Perform PVC, copper, and galvanized plumbing repairs
  • Troubleshoot and work safely with 110-volt and 220-volt electrical equipment
  • Communicate repair findings and solution options clearly with customers
  • Complete repairs in a timely, efficient, and high-quality manner
  • Maintain truck inventory and ensure materials and parts are properly stocked
  • Use a smartphone and mobile tools to manage work orders, updates, and service notes
  • Identify additional opportunities to improve equipment performance and customer experience
  • Follow company procedures, service standards, and safety protocols
