The Equipment Rental Specialist, also referred to as an Inside Sales Representative, is an inside sales role responsible for supporting telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of various types of construction/industrial equipment. This position serves as the Company’s front line of contact with the customer, with the purpose of understanding customer equipment needs, negotiating, and placing orders. The role also requires strong administrative skills and the ability to deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude at all times. Sunbelt Rentals offers an expansive portfolio of products and services, including general construction equipment, industrial tools, pumps, power & HVAC, trench shoring, scaffolding, and remediation & restoration equipment. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver’s license required
  • Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment
  • Strong customer service & telephone skills
  • Solid computer and administrative skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous equipment rental industry experience
  • Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations
