As a new Equipment Rental Mechanic II at Tejas Equipment Rental, you'll dive into an exciting day-to-day routine that keeps you engaged and challenged. Your mornings will kickstart with reviewing equipment maintenance schedules and diagnosing issues on a diverse range of construction machinery. Expect to collaborate closely with our customer-centric team, ensuring that every piece of equipment is operating at peak performance. You will spend your day troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on rental equipment while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. Your schedule is designed for work-life balance, running Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts from 8 AM to 12 PM. This flexible timing allows for weekends filled with adventure! Be prepared for a fun, relaxed environment that encourages both personal and professional growth as you become an integral part of our success. The ideal candidate should also have some heavy truck repair experience. (Belts, hoses, and some wiring). This location is also Big John Site services so some portable restroom repair and make ready work would be required as this is a hybrid store of Tejas Equipment and Big John Site Services.
