About The Position

Our USME Equipment Refurbishment Representative will provide support through various integral processes and must have the ability to work both individually and as part of a team. An integral part of the support and service of USME locations and USME partners, the Equipment Refurbishment Representative will ensure timeliness, quality, and safety of all outgoing medical equipment.

Responsibilities

General paint and prep duties along with buffing and small repair work on used/refurbished medical equipment.
May wear a respirator and will paint with lacquers.
Complete basic cosmetic repairs on medical equipment.
Mask off areas that do not require paint; prepare the surface to be painted and apply paint with professional-looking results.
Sand and buff acrylic covers and other parts to eliminate scratches and gouges.
Disassemble equipment. Tag and inventory working parts removed from non-working units for later use.
Wear appropriate protective gear such as gloves and eye protection.
Be familiar with the safe handling and storage of paints, adhesives and other chemicals used in the refurbishment process and ensure that the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for those materials has been reviewed.
Accurate and thorough completion of paperwork and electronic data entry.
Knowledgeable or willing to learn new tasks/roles to ensure needed medical equipment is up toquality standards.
Maintain a professional attitude toward all customer contacts and company employees.
Maintain a neat appearance including wearing a company uniform.
Additional duties as assigned.
