What would you do as a Equipment processing Technician As a Full-Time Equipment Processing Technician at HME Specialists, your key responsibilities will involve cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining medical equipment between customer use while meticulously documenting maintenance activities using designated forms. You will perform scheduled maintenance according to manufacturer specifications, adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols and infection control procedures outlined in our policy, CDS-016. This role is integral to ensuring that equipment is appropriately labeled, covered, and stored in designated areas while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other company policies. You will support our mission and values in a collaborative environment where rotating duties promote fairness and versatility. Utilizing various tools, such as power washers and air guns, you will work efficiently indoors and outdoors, meeting productivity standards. Proficiency in using technology, including computers and tablets, is essential as you will also handle special projects as directed by management.
