We are seeking an Equipment Pharmacy Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling medication, maintaining, and troubleshooting our automatic tablet dispensing and robotic dispensing equipment. Your daily duties will include routine maintenance, repair, and component replacement, ensuring the accuracy of the pill counter through calibration and validation, and keeping it clean and operational.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot the automatic tablet dispensing
  • Perform routine maintenance, repair, and replacement of components
  • Calibrate and validate the accuracy of the pill counter
  • Stock and refill automated robotic equipment
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the equipment
  • Adhere to company, state, and federal guidelines for licensing and training
  • Lift objects weight up to 50 lbs. when required
  • Stand up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Be flexible to meet shift requirements, including occasional overtime
  • Pharmacy Technician License or Medication Handling License in the state of Arizona OR the ability to obtain licensure within 90 days of employment
  • 6+ months of experience in at least one of the following: pharmacy, electrical/mechanical equipment, automotive, electronics, HVAC or electricity
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with basic hand tools (screwdriver, hex wrench, etc.)
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift 50 pounds frequently in a warehouse environment
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
  • Previous experience in a mail order pharmacy
  • Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
  • Intermediate level of computer and organization skills
  • Competent in basic math equations, including various forms of measurements, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to focus on workload and achieve production and quality objectives
