The Equipment & Parts Driver is responsible for safely transporting parts, small equipment, and supplies to customers and company locations while ensuring timely, secure, and courteous delivery.
Requirements
- 1+ years of delivery driving experience
- Must have good computer skills and a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes.
- Ability to assemble machinery components and to follow the manufacturer’s pre-delivery instructions.
- The ability to drive with a Class C driver's license and be covered under our insurance policy.
Responsibilities
- Safely and securely transport parts, small equipment, and related supplies to customers and our locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.
- Maintains a clean vehicle and performs work in an organized and orderly fashion.
- Will be back up to other positions as deemed necessary by leadership.
- Promote the sale of parts and service at all times.
- Ensuring the truck and trailer are in good working condition before making any delivery.
- Maintains paper records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts.
- Accounts for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties.
- Quality control checks equipment and parts during the loading and unloading process.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
