This 7-week sewing apprenticeship is designed to train participants in the essential tasks, skills, and knowledge required to become successful sewing technicians. The program combines hands-on, practical training with foundational instruction in sewing techniques, equipment handling, workplace safety, and quality control. Participants will gain experience in Athletic sewing processes, fabric handling, and garment construction while developing the technical proficiency and work habits needed for employment in this industry. The intent of the program is to have two apprentices transition into a permanent part-time sewing technician with our team. Apprentice's eligibility to continue on and be hired as a permanent part-time sewing technician role will be assessed by the Sewing Manager at the end of the Apprenticeship Program.
