About The Position

We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy. We seek an industrial equipment-focused technician who mainly focuses on cleaning parts and sometimes builds, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots plasma reactors. You'll be working with an experienced team of process engineers and maintenance technicians locally and collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers around the world. Your goal will be to achieve maximum productivity for our plant by improving equipment capabilities and troubleshooting problems on the line. This position will be for Graveyard, working 6 pm-6 am. The job will be hands-on, installing and maintaining tools in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills such as data entry in spreadsheets, filling out online checklists, and maintaining a safe working environment on and around the production floor.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-year technical degree, certificate, or military technical background in mechanical, electrical, equipment, systems, or other related fields.
  • Assembly and troubleshooting high vacuum systems, including leak detection
  • Experience troubleshooting a variety of electrical and mechanical systems from three-phase AC power to low-voltage DC board-level signals.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning plasma reactors and focusing on quality.
  • Installing, upgrading, and maintaining plasma reactors (CVD tool).
  • Troubleshooting industrial control/electrical systems including high-voltage power supplies, controllers, sensors, pumps, PLCs, valves, and other devices.
  • Planning and executing upgrades and retrofits to improve tool reliability and process capabilities.
  • Working on multidisciplinary teams to solve complicated problems.
