Requirements
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
- Interest in working outdoors year-round performing manual labor in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
Nice To Haves
- Prior tree care experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Understands and demonstrates the correct use of the controls to drive and operate the stump grinder
- Inspects the work area for electrical hazards, foreign objects, and obstacles
- Ensures daily, weekly, and monthly safety checks are performed and documented as per manufacturer’s instructions
- Understands Z-133 standards as it pertains to stump grinders
- Interacts with clientele in order to help ensure job satisfaction
- Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader or designated supervisor, Arborist Representative, or Local Manager
