Job Summary: As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll be operating a range of heavy machinery, including skid steer, end loaders, excavators, and dozers. This position requires working in noisy environments with exposure to extreme temperatures and involves physically demanding tasks within our tire recycling facility and in the field.

Requirements

  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must have heavy machinery experience.
  • Skid steer – required
  • Understand and follow all OSHA and site-specific safety programs.
  • Must be reliable and flexible.
  • Willingness to work in hot, cold, wet and dirty conditions.
  • Attention to detail and attentive.
  • Willingness to work hard.
  • Be a team player.
  • Safety boots required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.

  • Excavator – preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate various heavy machines including track hoe, skid steer, front end loaders, rock trucks, excavators, and dozers.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and understand directions thoroughly.
  • Engage in multiple activities within the tire recycling facility, involving physical and demanding tasks.
  • Working on site and off site up to 6 days a week
