About The Position

Navitor Midwest, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a Cutter Operator. The position is responsible for programming cutter equipment to specific measurement requirements for cutting raw and finished materials.

Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm Some overtime may be required dependent on work volumes

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy, and challenging environment

• Has strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to utilize learn computer program for order processing
• Basic math skills
• Ability to distinguish colors
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift
• Ability to lift and/or up to 20-40 pounds on a consistent basis
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Responsibilities

• Customize the mechanics on the equipment to coordinate with the customer’s order
• Prioritize work to meet the department needs
• Trouble shoot any potential issues
• Monitor the machine during operation to ensure effective production
• Review the product for exceptional quality
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Respond to various questions and requests from the production area
• Build and maintain relationships between all departments
• Cross train on additional equipment in the area
