About The Position
The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating the motorized equipment and vehicles on the golf course.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment including, but not limited to, trucks, gang mowers, tractor-drawn mowers, mechanical sand rakes, triplex and 5-gang self-contained mowing units
- Maintains and makes minor adjustments to equipment
- Change cups and tee makers and maintains ball washers, hazard stakes and traffic control rope
- Applies pesticides and fertilizer, as needed
- Perform Greenskeeper duties, as needed
- Walk mow greens.
- Assist golf superintendents in monitoring conditions of golf course.
- Operates fairways and rough units.
- Operates all large tractors
