About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of construction equipment, ensuring job sites remain safe, clean, and efficient. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with multiple types of heavy machinery, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment, including mini excavators, backhoes, and skid steers
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Strong knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, including site plans and safety guidelines
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)

Responsibilities

  • Operate a range of heavy equipment, including mini excavators, backhoes, and skid steers, in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and basic repairs to ensure equipment is in proper working condition
  • Load, unload, and transport equipment as needed
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites at all times
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, as well as applicable regulations
  • Identify equipment issues and troubleshoot or report problems promptly
  • Assist with general construction duties as required
  • Train and mentor new team members on proper equipment operation and safety practices
  • Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training to stay current on best practices
