About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate and maintain equipment such as loaders, conveyors, and crushers to ensure efficient sand production. Monitor plant operations and perform routine inspections to identify and resolve issues. Safely perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on plant equipment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily activities. Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe worksite.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Commitment to working safely and promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing operational needs.
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
