About The Position

The Equipment Operator at Holcim US is responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment to produce products and manage the loading and unloading of materials. This role is crucial for ensuring order accuracy and efficient processing of requests while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates dozers, loaders, or other types of large equipment used for moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, stone and other materials.
• Loads material into bins, into trucks or plant and moves earth or other materials from one location to another.
• Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment; maintains appearance of equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels and performs minor repairs as needed.
• Completes paperwork that may be necessary; assists with other duties required.
