Requirements

• One year of experience operating small/medium equipment and vehicles.
• Valid Class E driver's license at time of hire.
• CDL Class B License Instructional Permit required within 60 days of appointment.
• Obtain CDL Class B license with air brakes within 10 months of appointment.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance and servicing work on equipment operated.
• Operate vehicles and a variety of small and medium equipment including dump trucks and graders.
• Use hand, pneumatic, and electrical tools for maintenance tasks.
• Perform independent manual labor with minimal supervision.
• Assist in tree trimming, rough carpentry, masonry, and painting tasks.
• Perform Temporary Traffic Control (Maintenance of Traffic).
• Assist with crew activity reports as needed.
