About The Position

A Southland Holdings company is currently accepting resumes for EXPERIENCED- EQUIPMENT OPERATOR, to join our team in Farmington, New Mexico.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience (Required)
• CDL Class A & Class B with endorsements (Not Required)
• Responsible and Dependable
• Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees
• Ability to stand, squat, stoop, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., must work in all weather conditions, be prepared for both extreme hot/cold, must be able to work independently, maintain good schedule, available for OT.
• Must be able to pass a drug test/background/driving test.

Nice To Haves

• Safety training certification (Preferred)
• OSHA 10 (Preferred)
• Safety Training Certificate (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ability to demonstrate how to operate but not limited to a Loader, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Track hoe.
• Applicant must be able to come to work on time daily and drive the assigned equipment in a legal, efficient, and, above all else, safe manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post trip daily-multiple locations.
• Applicants must also be able to transport material to the job site without supervision and assess dump sites to determine if it is safe for the truck to get in and out of the unloading area safely and without difficulty.
