About The Position
This position is responsible for the safe, economical, efficient operation and care of heavy solid waste equipment, primarily a Front Loader (FL), used to collect, transport, and dispose of commercial solid waste trash and recyclables in the Solid Waste Management Division of the Field Operations Department. The role may also involve operating other solid waste heavy and specialized equipment such as Automated Side Loader (ASL), Roll-Off (RO), Rear Loader (RL), Bulk Trash Case Tractor, Street Sweeper, and bin delivery equipment based on department need and/or on a regular basis.
