About The Position
There are two positions available: One position focuses on a vactor truck. The second position focuses on a dump truck for hauling sweeper debris. Performs semi-skilled work in the operation of moderately complex construction/maintenance equipment. An employee in this class is responsible for performing tasks of average difficulty involving the safe operation and routine maintenance of assigned equipment. Tasks at times are performed under hazardous conditions and employees are expected to be particularly alert and careful. Under general supervision, employees are required to exercise some initiative and independent judgment in completing assigned tasks and work is reviewed while in progress and upon completion by observation and through results obtained.
