About The Position

The position involves operating heavy equipment and production machinery in a manufacturing environment, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and efficient production processes. The role requires attention to detail in loading materials and assisting machine operators, contributing to the overall productivity and quality of the products manufactured.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; or at least three years of related manufacturing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, shipping and receiving tickets, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to pass internal certification program.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, specifically a front end loader and/or forklift, and production machinery as directed while adhering to safety rules and regulations.
• Load bins for production ensuring the correct mix and quantity of product to prevent delays.
• Keep the work area clean.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Assist machine operators in setting up machines and other necessary tasks to meet deadlines.
