About The Position

No Job Description for a position can possibly include all duties which may be requested by guests or required by the hotel. The objective of all positions is to effectively provide the services personally, or to immediately refer requests to the appropriate department manager. The following is a summary of the major responsibilities of the position. Complete tasks necessary to ensure the golf courses and surrounding areas are maintained in immaculate condition.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license and meet company MVR requirements .
• Must be able to stand up to 60 minutes per hour worked.
• Must be able to walk, climb, bend/stoop, overhead reach, hand/eye coordination, arm/hand movement up to 30 minutes per hour worked.
• Must be able to lift over 40 pounds horizontal, overhead, floor to waist, grasping/holding, pushing/pulling, and carrying.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with general landscape care equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of equipment including mowers, sting trimmers, backpack blowers and other small tools.
• Operates self-propelled walking and riding mowers.
• Performs grounds maintenance work such as repairing turf using sod, reseeding and setting up protective barriers, planting and pruning trees and shrubs, removing debris, mulching, weeding, cutting up downed trees, etc., using hand and power tools.
