About The Position
The Equipment Operator (Material Handler/Shipper Receiver) is accountable to ensure materials are always available at point-of-use in production areas. The role purpose is to constantly handle replenishment tasks so production personnel can focus on the valued-added tasks that create products. The incumbent needs to be thoroughly familiar with the materials, tools and methods of the process they are supporting. By working within the processes, this position also requires one to be constantly moving and facilitating workflow, all while keeping the workplace clean and efficient. The Equipment Operator (Material Handler/Shipper Receiver) is also accountable for assisting in shipping, receiving, and storing of products materials and supplies. The incumbent will also assist with Inventory when required.
