About The Position

Venture Solutions, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking an Inserter Operator (3rd Shift) to join our team in Arden Hills, Minnesota. We're looking for someone experienced in running high-speed inserters such as BlueCrest, Kern, and/or Bell and Howell equipment.

Requirements

Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances
Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail
High degree of mathematical skills
Good reading and comprehension skills
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull, and/or carry)

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED
Experience working with close tolerances and precision machinery
Ability to effectively communicate with team members
Strong analytical skills
Good color discernment

Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on inserter equipment to ensure optimum output
Prepare materials and verify proper setup before running jobs
Check paper for correct type, size, color, and quantity
Visually inspect forms throughout each run for accuracy and quality
Coordinate with the Production Team to meet job priorities and adjust schedules as needed
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety guidelines and equipment procedures
